Business and Labor working together for workforce training excellence!
This morning Amy Anderson of AWB, joined by Jeff Johnson of the Washington State Labor Council (at left) and Perry England of MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions (who serves as chair of the state Workforce Training & Education Coordinating Board), testified together before the Senate Higher Education Committee in support of SRC 8401, the state comprehensive plan for workforce training and education.
The Leadership Washington Class of 2017 toured Joint Base Lewis-McChord, the Lacey Earth Friendly Products plant, and the Lacey Callisons facility during this week's tour of the Olympia area. It was a great fourth stop in their seven-stop tour of Washington's diverse regions and economies.
